Little Girls in Europe at Christmas time
We were so lucky to meet my friend Lauren, her baby Alice, and a group of moms and daughters (from around the US) in Paris! We spent a few days in London prior to meeting them – and we fit every single coat (plus mine) in 4 pink carry-ons. I’ve decided that half of the fun of travel is coordinating the outfits and the anticipation of the experience. Of all the trips I’ll ever take, this will (visually) hold such a special place in my heart. My little girls won’t always be little; but I’ll forever see them in these shoes, boots, dress coats and capes outside of each special landmark – and (most especially) the playgrounds.
I love European brands; and I splurge on a lot of statement, heirloom pieces at La Coqueta and Pepa of London. I found some fun, colorful options at J.Crew and Janie and Jack – and I always find such great filler options at Target, Amazon, Walmart, and Shein (to offset the price tag of some of the coats). The Donsje boots were so warm and we all wore fleece tights ( a big win!).
I have consistently found each and every place I shop (price points across the board) to surprise me with specific pieces that are high quality (especially for children’s wear).
