A Final Bow

Kevin and I found out the gender of the new babe months ago: hands held too tight, tears streaming down both of our faces.  We decided to share the big news, with the babes, at Magnolia Plantation in Charleston.

I never say never, but for a few reasons, we are pretty certain this sweet babe is our hallelujah chorus, our curtain call, our caboose, our grande finale, Our Final Bow(cutt).

Monroe was certain she was getting a sister all along; and told us from day one that “Jesus is sending me a sister”.  I am the only girl in my family, and I’m so happy to be building my girl squad.

Sweet baby girl,

We can’t wait to meet, and squeeze, and smell, and hold you tight.

XO, mom
